The Kiswah, the cloth covering the Kaaba in Makkah, symbolizes veneration and glorification. To respect this sacred fabric, guests of Allah must follow certain guidelines:
- Avoid holding onto the Kiswah. It is exclusively dedicated to the Kaaba, and refraining from physical contact shows reverence.
- Never pull or drag the Kiswah. Mishandling can damage its delicate structure and intricate designs.
- Maintain the Kiswah’s cleanliness. As a house of purity, the Kaaba’s cloth should remain spotless and free from impurities.
- Preserve the integrity of the Kiswah. Do not alter or tamper with its design, as it represents the rich Islamic heritage associated with the Kaaba.
