Saudi Arabia has planned a high-speed train running at a speed of 1,078 kilometers per hour.
With the help of a high-speed train called ‘Virgin Hyperloop’, it will now be possible to travel 80 kilometers from Jeddah to Mecca and Mecca to Jeddah in a short time of up to 5 minutes, while travel from Riyadh to Jeddah will be possible in less than an hour.
According to Arab media, this technology has been introduced by an American company called ‘Hyperloop One’, through which travel from one city to another can be traveled in a very short time, the purpose of this technology is to minimize long travel times.
The American company has announced that with this technology, passengers will be able to travel in a capsule-like train at the rate of 1,078 kilometers per hour. The company has assured passenger safety as well as comfortable travel.
In this regard, the CEO of DP World, a UAE-based logistics company, said that the project will be completed by 2030.
Saudi Arabia will be the first country to launch hyperloop technology, through this technology, the journey from Riyadh to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia will be easily covered in 46 minutes, and travel from Riyadh to Dubai in 51 minutes.
